Have a question? It's ok, we all do. Here are the ones that we often get...
What is a CMR?
CMR stands for Certified Marketing Representative. We earned this designation through the Yellow Pages
Association after completing a rigorous certification process to demonstrate our knowledge
of the industry and our abilities to manage and place National Yellow Pages advertising. In short,
we are a Specialized Yellow Pages Advertising Agency that assists national and regional advertisers
in placing Yellow Pages advertising.
Are all CMR's the same?
No. We're the best, but that's just our opinion. Check us out for yourself.
What qualifies as a National Account?
Account qualification standards are set by the Yellow Pages Association and must be adhered to
by all agencies. To qualify, an advertiser must be advertising in at least three states, with twop publishers
and in at least 20 directories.
How are you compensated?
We are paid by a commission from the publishers. There are no additional fees to the client for our
services beyond the cost of the advertising placed.
Can you negotiate the "best" rate?
Yes. All agencies work off the same publisher rate card. We actively research and apply all available
publisher incentives. You can be confident that you are getting the best rate available for your
advertising.
Do large agencies have more "buying power"?
No. The size of the agency or their billings do not effect the pricing for the Yellow Pages advertising
placed. All agencies work off the same publisher rate card.
Isn't the use of print Yellow Pages declining?
No. In fact, references have remained consistent over the past several years with over 14.5 billion references annually.
Is the Internet cannibalizing the print Yellow Pages?
No. The two products are actually complementary. While iYP has certainly seen strong gains in recent
years, it has not been at the expense of the print Yellow Pages.
